Vivanta Coimbatore

We stayed at Vivanta Coimbatore for three nights (Jan 17 through Jan 20, 2024). We were on vacation for the first time in India in a decade and we hadn't been back to Coimbatore in 25 years. This was a big trip for us as we had great hopes of reconnecting with dear college friends, close relatives, and the city of Coimbatore, which we did. Our wonderful stay at Vivanta Coimbatore in the central Race Course location just made our visit to Coimbatore a picture perfect trip! We truly enjoyed every aspect of Vivanta Coimbatore. Everything was exceptional—from the hotel's central location; to the room quality, cleanliness, and amenities; to the outstanding breakfast buffet; to the buffer and a la carte options for lunch and dinner; to the bar; and to the professionalism and hospitality of the staff in every department.  We want to shout out to some of the staff at the hotel's restaurant for their exceptional service and hospitality—Raj/Raja, Sudhakar, Mohan, the head chef, and the general manager. We also had lovely conversations with them and others at the restaurant. We also want to mention Karthik and Ibrahim from the housecleaning department. Unfortunately, we forget the names of a few others we received exceptional hospitality from, so in that regard, please kindly let ALL of your staff know how much we enjoyed our stay, and how much we appreciated their prompt services and superb hospitality. We very much look forward to staying at Vivanta Coimbatore again, and we've recommended it already to family and friends. Thank you very much. Raji and Michael

Suresh from Housekeeping was an absolute delight ensuring our room was serviced on time and any requirements were promptly attended. The breakfast buffet too was an interesting and sumptuous spread. We were upgraded to an higher floor and a superior room to match our requirements with our fellow traveling friends.

Booked this Hotel for my stay in Coimbatore. This Hotel is listed as a 4 Star Hotel and it is not rightly represented. In fact, it should be up-graded as a 5 Star Hotel - given the personalised service by Lily and her staff at the Reception, and excellent presentation of the room. The Room Service was prompt and attended to by smiling and polite serving staff. Lily anticipates your needs - I just flew in from Chennai and as I checked in at the Service counter, Lily offers to send a cup of coffee to refresh and also as I was leaving the hotel at 5.00 am to catch a flight, she offered to pack fruit salad and sandwiches to go and they were kept ready at the Reception. Just based on the location, the presentation of the hotel itself and the rooms and the pool, and having caring and very friendly & polite staff, I strongly feel it should be graded as a 5 Star Hotel. The property was clean, the staff was very courteous, the rooms were clean.

Our stay at the Vivanta was super comfortable. The entrance lobby is grand and well decorated. We were impressed with the room upgrade at check-in, cleanliness of the property and the extremely polite, courteous and super friendly staff at reception, in housekeeping and at the breakfast service. The breakfast was awesome and the filter coffee very delicious. The mattress was excellent and very comfortable. Our 8th floor room had mountain view and was very spacious. Highly recommend the hotel to all looking for a memorable stay in Coimbatore.
